The Parkway
Heather and I wanted to do winter photos in the snow, but the snow never stuck around long enough for us to get out and take some quality photos in it. We decided to take a walk through the Jordan River Parkway and do a little photo shoot there. We of course had a blast! Heather is so photogenic I only have to take one picture of her in each pose to get a good one, but me on the other hand, Heather has to go through several photos to get a decent one :)

Oregon Survival Trip
Heather and I drove to Oregon for the weekend to watch Allie play state basketball. Well our original plan was to drive to Nampa Idaho, which is only about 3 hours from Burns where the game was, but we didn't quite make it that far. My car started acting funny about 1 1/2 hours into the drive and we had to have our lovely travel agent (my mama) book us another hotel in Burley and we were just hoping my car would make it that far. The car trouble were only the first our problems, because shortly after my car started acting up a freak accident happened.... something flew up out of nowhere and hit my driver side window and shattered it! When whatever it was hit my window it sounded like a gun shot. Heather and I were in such shock that we didn't even say anything to eachother for about ten minutes after it happened. I felt that we were very blessed though, because it could have hit my windshield and shattered it and then our trip to Oregon would have been over! Since it only hit my side window we were able to tape seran wrap over the window and drive with it like that the rest of the way. It was a noisy car ride, but it was quite the adventure! We are always up for adventures!!!
