Bonfire on the Beach

On Independence Day we had a bonfire on Agate beach. It was a blast! As you can see in one of the pictures I'm holding an adorable little baby boy...that is my nephew Lincoln and I cannot get enough of him! This trip is the first time I have met him and I don't want to leave him.
At the beach we had a blast roasting marshmallows, digging a sand trench, and flying our giant dragon kite. So fun! :) I love the Oregon coast.

The Utah Arts Festival

Last weekend I went to he Utah Arts Festival with some friends. I love going to places where artwork, architecture, creative design, etc. are displayed and are set up for viewing because I appreciate all kinds of art and learning. At the festival there were displays of various types of art, of every medium, including: photography, oil paintings, glass work, metalwork, clay, etc. It was an incredible display of talent and the arts. I loved it!

It is a little bit hard to tell, but the steps that we are standing on in two of the pictures are flowing with water. The steps were a beautiful cascading water feature. I took pictures of a few of the sayings that I liked on some of the display boards that were for sale at the festival. Here are a few of them...

Manti Pageant

Last weekend I had the opportunity of attending the Manti Pageant. My favorite scene was the scene when the Savior came to the earth after he was resurrected. It was beautiful to see how he interacted with the people and especially how he called the children to come to him one by one. The Manti Utah temple was a gorgeous backdrop too.

Becca's Reception

A few weeks ago Heather, Gregg, and I traveled to Rexburg to attend the reception of our dear friend Rebecca Pieper. She looked so beautiful in her wedding gown and most importantly, she looked so happy with her husband. It was so good to see her with such a great man that will treat her like she deserves to be treated. She is an incredible girl! We love her!
Afterwards we went out to eat at Craigo's. It brought back a lot of memories from when I was going to school. It was good to be there, but I don't feel like I belong there anymore. It was a great place while I was going to school and I loved being there, but I like where I'm at now :)

My First Piece of Furniture!

My First Piece of Furniture!

I bought my first piece of furniture and it was a big deal for me. I love my new bed! All I have to say is that IKEA is a beautiful place.
