Five Different Halloween Costumes in 2010

I was really livin' up Halloween this year! In the first picture I was Pippy Long Stocking; I did have a hanger in my braids but I took it out cause it was killing my head and I kept smacking people in the face! Heather and I dressed up as Mario and Luigi from Super Mario Brothers for work one day and then the next week we dressed up as the lead singer from Kiss for the work Halloween party (forgot to take pictures of that). In the third picture I dressed up as the girl from Avatar for a costume contest.... I took second place to a walrus!!! My friend and I worked on my costume for so long we were late to the party where the contest was taking place so I didn't get enough exposure before the judging took place. It was very disappointing. If I would have had time to get my dance on the competition would have been over! ;) In the last picture Allie and I dressed up as twins for a Halloween party on Halloween night. Wow I must LOVE Halloween!

Heather's Surprise Bonfire and Birthday Bash

I surprised Heather and got some people together for a bonfire and after party on her birthday. Heather doesn't like big groups so we just did something small, but she was so very surprised and I think she enjoyed it. She loves banana boats ever since she was introduced to them last summer, so of course there were enough banana boat supplies for everyone! The after party birthday bash was at a friend of ours' house. It is a tradition of ours that every time we go over to this friend's house we must play Taio Cruz's Dynamite song and dance around my car... so that is what the crazy dance pictures are all about. We go a little crazy if you can't tell! Once the song starts there is no stoppin' us! I always have my dancing shoes on :)
We also went to dinner and a comedy show in Provo in celebration of Heather's birthday as well. She said there were very few things that she wanted to do for her special day, but that was definitely her top choice. It was pretty funny. I hope Heather felt special, because she is one of my best friends and I kinda love her a lot. Heather you are amazing.

Picky Pumpkin Pickers with Personality

Allie and I came straight from the Provo temple to the local Albertson's to scope out their pumpkin selection the night before Halloween. It was slim pickings! We were on a mission to find the pumpkins with the most personality if you know what I mean; The more scars, bruises, protrusions, deformities, the better! No make up, hadn't even brushed our hair, and here we were out in public at the local super market climbing over little wooden fences in our skirts and heels, diggin' through dirty, pimpled pumpkins on a Friday night... cheap entertainment that had us crying with laughter. It was awesome!

Girls Weekend Get-Away to Park City September 2010

Girls weekend in Park City. We visited the Olympic Park and posed in the museum. I know I know, it should be illegal to look like such a natural Olympian, but we are just that good we can't even help it! ;) We stayed over night in a hotel next to the Canyons Resort and it was beautiful. We were surrounded by the mountains on every side; absolutely gorgeous. Simply picturesque. We had a wonderful get-away weekend, including pizza, pillow fights, and spa treatment. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. :)

Quality Sister Time October 2010

Wow! Lindsey, Allie, and I had WAY too much fun in the costume section at a grocery store in Salt Lake last year during the early part of October. Lindsey and Allie came to visit me for a weekend and we had so much fun together. We were laughing all weekend, which is my favorite thing to do! We went to both sessions of General Conference Saturday. I took them to SubZero, which is an ice cream shop where they make the ice cream right in front of you. It's pretty much amazing. Allie, Lindsey, and I ate ourselves into a tasty oblivion and were pretty much exhausted little freezer burned Popsicles for the rest of the evening! It was fabulous. I love my sisters and I am so grateful they lived so close to me and came to visit me so often. I was so spoiled. We can make a good time out of anytime!!! I love these girls :)
