My friend and roommate Amy had two extra tickets for General Conference super last minute and gave them to Sabrina and I for the Sunday morning session. We even had great parking! It was freezing outside while we were waiting in line to get into the Conference Center before Music and the Spoken Word at 9am. It was not even cold when we left the house but by the time we got to the Conference Center the freezing rain was coming down! I held my jacket over Sabrina's head for a while but my arms just couldn't take it after ten minutes or so... needless to say, we were so happy to finally get into the Conference Center where it was toasty warm.
In this picture Amy is obviously enjoying the unexpected spring showers and gusts of ice cold wind in her hair and drops of freezing rain. Gotta love Utah... we sure do :)
