The Field is White....

The sunset was so beautiful on our drive back to Salt Lake from Cedar City. I don't think these pictures capture its full beauty.

 The heavens appeared to open up and pour out the light. I can't describe how pretty it was.

 I love the contrast in this photo from the bright blue sky, to the dark tree speckled mountains, to the soft glow of the yellow wheat and snow white open fields below.

Luke and I pulled over on the side of the freeway on our way back to Salt Lake from Cedar City this weekend after we found a beautiful location to take some spontaneous pictures. I have always wanted to take pictures in a snowy wheat field with the mountains in the background and so we did! It was a blast!

Notice the somewhat distressed look on my face. The barbed wires may have gotten a hold of my pants and almost ripped them clean off, but hey I prefer no pants over pants any day! ;)
