Sabrina's Birthday Celebration!

PARTY GAMES! We played this game I learned in the desert when I was at my one week of wilderness therapy training, the game is called screaming chief. In the game you have one person who is a chief at a time and the people to the chief's right and left are his/her rowers. The chief has to put his/her hands up on top of their head in some fashion to represent a headdress and makes a loud Indian call until he/she passes the chiefdom to someone else in the circle. While the chief is making the Indian call the two people to his/her sides are paddeling the canoe and yelling. As you can see from some of the pictures it was hilarious! I can't wait to play this in the summer with my family on our family vacation. Everyone was laughing so hard that you almost can't keep playing cause you can't breathe! That is the best kind of laughter! Love it. My roommates and neighbors are totally great sports.

We also played the game Snort. In this game one person is blind folded and they walk around to different people in the circle snorting at them to get them to snort back and so they can guess who is snorting.

Party Game 3: Keys
In this game one person stands in the middle and holds a set of keys. The Key holder then calls someone from the surrounding circle of people to pose him/her. After the person has posed the key holder he/she grabs the key holder's wrist and calls someone else to pose him/her. This continues until the key holder decides to drop the keys, at which point everyone has to try to find a place in the surrounding circle. Whoever doesn't find a chair or towel or pot holder around the circle becomes the key holder for the next round. It was Sabrina's idea and it was a blast. We got into some pretty interesting poses. Good times!

I decorated the cake myself... don't look too close ha ha. It tasted better than it looks!

Heather and I when we first approached the blank poster board, trying to decide hos to design it, totally perplexed...
