I was able to be in the room for the whole labor and delivery. The labor was very difficult to watch, because Allie was in so much pain for so long. I've never seen someone, anyone, but especially someone I love so much, in so much pain. It was difficult to watch and in some ways was life changing. I hurt so bad for her as I watched her struggle through the contractions, preparing to bring sweet little Jade into this world. Mothers make so many incredible sacrifices to bring these precious little spirits into this life , and even knowing how much pain and discomfort is involved, they do it time and time again. Allie is such an example of courage and selflessness to me. This was a difficult experience to see her suffer through, but I also think being able to be there for her to comfort her in any way that I could brought us closer together.
I have an even greater respect for women now and their selfless willingness to bring children into this world. Little babies are so worth it. I am so in love with little Jadeilyn. I can't get enough of her!
Incredible is a small word but closest to how I feel about this amazing post about little Jadeilyn:) you did amazing my sis and I am so lucky you were there and that we have little jade to hold in our arms now:)
